Job Targets:

The mission of the position is to plan and coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products and lines. The role involves planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay, while taking into account the optimal use of resources.

Dimensions/Organisation/Magnitude:

Planning involves 10 assembly lines and 6 semi-product departments, organized into 4 shifts per day, handling 140 references for 6 main customers.

Internal/External Contracts:

Collaborations include Supply Chain Manager, Production Manager, Warehousing & Distribution, Quality, and SQM.

Areas of Responsibility/Main Tasks:
Planning:
  • Preparing for production by considering order status, capacities, stock levels, backlogs, procurement, and personnel resources to enable an optimal production sequence.
  • Developing a detailed production schedule with tasks and deadlines to meet predicted completion dates.
  • Controlling the production sequence to optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinating material movements between production units for efficient production runs.
  • Facilitating communication among all involved parties to maintain an efficient logistics chain.
  • Setting up and monitoring KANBAN control cycles for finished and semi-finished goods, including raw materials.
Problem Solving:
  • Troubleshooting production issues.
  • Identifying shortages, bottlenecks, and inventory problems.
  • Ensuring problems do not recur.
  • Proactively resolving blocks and barriers to progress.
  • Coordinating with production to balance demands and plans.
Required Knowledge:
  • Products, systems, and technologies (functionalities and applications).
  • Supply Chain Management, including logistics policies and systems.
  • Quality Management, including policies and processes.
  • Local language and culture, with intercultural sensitivity.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making tools and techniques.
  • Project management skills and tools.
  • Business knowledge, including commercial conditions and P&L impact.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP Modules: PP, SD, APO.
  • Phase In & Out Process Management.
  • Delivery and reception procedures.
