POSTING PRESENTATION:

You will contribute to the STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide substrate manufacturing facility from its start-up, ensuring the growth of the production team and the achievement of performance indicators for production.

As part of your role, you may be requested to join a 2-3 month learning period at the STMicroelectronics plant in Sweden to understand the specifics of Silicon Carbide substrates manufacturing and the process flow.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving manufacturing targets related to volume, quality, yield, capacity, costs, safety, and environmental standards by ensuring a motivated, skilled, and trained team.
  2. Establishing manufacturing methods and enhancing execution excellence within the production team.
  3. Allocating resources effectively to various activities, ensuring efficient line utilization and meeting production plans.
  4. Ensuring proper execution of manufacturing processes in line with specifications and procedures.
  5. Monitoring production line performance and taking timely actions in case of deviations or crises, such as quality issues or equipment failures.
  6. Driving and executing improvement programs related to production performance and supporting operational enhancements in collaboration with other groups.
PROFILE REQUIRED:
  • Candidates should have a Master's degree in science (physics, chemistry) or engineering (mechanical, industrial, electronics) or management engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a production or area manager/team leader in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a proven success record.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and resource management.
  • Experience with planning, cost control, safety, environmental, and quality management methods.
  • Ability to work towards objectives, with excellent analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and drive teams, adapting leadership styles to maximize contributions.
  • Fact-based decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, active listening, and soft skills including conflict management.
  • Initiative, customer orientation, flexibility, and a sense of urgency.
