STMicroelectronics recherche un Production Manager pour son site de Catania. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une maîtrise en science ou en ingénierie et 5 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de fabrication. Le rôle implique de diriger une équipe et de garantir l'atteinte des objectifs de production, tout en faisant preuve d'initiatives pour l'amélioration continue. Les candidats doivent avoir des compétences en leadership, en gestion des ressources et en communication efficace.

POSTING PRESENTATION:

You will be a contributor to the STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide substrate manufacturing facility since its start-up, by ensuring the growth of Production team a and the achievement of the performance indicator’s targets for production.
In order to understand and learn the specificities of Silicon Carbide substrates manufacturing and the process flow, You might be requested to join a 2-3 months learning period at STMicroelectronics plant in Sweden
Main accountabilities for Your position will be:
To achieve substrates manufacturing targets related to volumes, quality & yield, capacity evolution, costs, safety, environment, by ensuring a right sized, motivated, skilled and trained team is in place
To establish Manufacturing methodsand to enhance execution excellence of Production team
To allocate resources to the various activities, ensuring effective and efficient line utilization and achievement of production plan targets
To ensure perfect execution of manufacturing process steps in line with specifications and operating procedures
To monitor production line performance and timely promote appropriate actions in case of deviations from the targets or crises (quality issues, equipment failures, urgent issues requiring revision of resources allocation)
To drive and execute improvement programs related to production performance indicators and support operational improvement activities , working in close collaboration with other groups

PROFILE REQUIRED:

• Candidates that best fit this role should have/be: -
  Master degree in science (physics, chemistry) or Engineering (mechanical, industrial, electronics) or Management Engineering,
  > 5 years Experience as Production manager or Area manager/section head of a team with more than 50 people in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with proven success story.
  Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and related resources management.
  Knowledge and practice of methods for planning and control of costs, safety, environment and quality
  Ability to work by objectives
  Excellent analysis, synthesis, reporting and presentation skills
  Leadership: Move people to action and drive to the achievements of objectives, being able to adapt the leadership style, to get their maximum contribution
  Fact based decision make
  Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
  Very good communication skills, oriented to active and efficient listening
  Ability and attitude to capture and develop the talents of his team members
  Initiative, customer orientation, sense of urgency, flexibility
