We, at iVis Technologies SRL, located in Taranto, Italy at via Luigi Corsi n.50, are currently seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing & Production Manager who has a passionate interest in being part of a project organization creating unique medical products for people needing laser eye treatment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the roll-out of Production and Lean Manufacturing Technology plans, resolving production issues, and deploying Lean Engineering projects. They should be an experienced and efficient manager with a strong technical and clinical background and exemplary work ethic.

They will develop mid- and long-term plans for iVis’s Engineering and Production Project Planning / Execution network, ensuring technical leadership and meeting network requirements.

Responsibilities include directing ongoing Lean Manufacturing and Production Structure planning, enhancing technical and operational capabilities to ensure iVis remains a robust, secure, and reliable structure.

Additional duties involve developing Supply Chain and Warehouse strategies, architecture, and execution guidelines to support capacity growth and ongoing management.

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience as Head of Lean Manufacturing, Production Manager, or a similar role for over 5 years in high-tech devices, especially 3 years in the medical sector
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience in international markets; ability to analyze business needs and recommend improvements based on sound business and financial knowledge
• Experience with and proven track record in implementing Continuous Improvement and Process Quality initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Strong understanding of all business functions, including Clinical Operations and Technical Operational Excellence
• High competency in business production planning and advanced medical technology, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in English; proficient in technical data analysis, business processes, IT infrastructure, and MS Office

The contract and salary will be determined based on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience.
