Sanofi Goa seeks a Production Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and NPI transfers, coordinating with supply chain and cross-functional teams to meet production plans, maintain WIP, and ensure compliant manufacturing and documentation.

You will drive process improvements, ensure GMP/cGMP and HSE adherence, train staff, and lead KPI-driven operations with budgeting and lean initiatives; SAP, BOM handling, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration are essential

As Production Manager at Sanofi in Goa, you will oversee end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and new product transfers to the Goa site. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet production plans, maintain WIP, and ensure compliant manufacturing and documentation. You will lead process improvements, GMP/HSE adherence, and staff development to drive consistent, high-quality output. This role offers impact through scalable operations and cross-site collaboration to deliver reliable medicines.

• Plan and schedule production and allocate work across centers; coordinate with supply chain and cross-functional teams
• Monitor daily production activities, changeovers, and maintain adequate WIP; document all products manufactured
• Lead New Product Introduction at Goa: transfer from mother plant, BOM prep, SAP recipe creation, batch scheduling, reporting, approvals, and product registration
• Train and develop staff to implement GMP/HSE, aiming for zero LTI/IWLT and workforce development
• Drive Process Excellence initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve yields and capacity utilization; review process parameters and quality metrics
• Ensure cgmp systems and data integrity: GMP adherence, quality system implementation, documentation practices, validation status, SOPs; periodic training of personnel
• HSE compliance: adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and requirements
• 10+ years of pharma manufacturing experience (OSD)
• Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy or Master of Science
• Strong production and operations management with KPI and budgeting experience; lean and supply chain knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of EHS, cGMP and quality regulations
• Experience managing medium to large teams; change management exposure; unionized workforce handling
• Experience in cross-functional roles (Quality, Opex, Engineering, Maintenance) is a plus
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and digital systems
