A growing medical device company located in Italy is seeking an experienced Lean Manufacturing & Production Manager to lead the rollout of production plans and resolve manufacturing issues. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and strong skills in Lean methodologies and production management. Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the rollout of Production and Lean Manufacturing Technology plans, resolving production issues, and deploying Lean Engineering Projects. They should be an experienced and efficient manager with a strong technical and clinical background and an exemplary work ethic.

They will develop mid- and long-term plans for iVis’s Engineering and Production Project Planning and Execution, ensuring technical leadership and meeting network requirements.

Ongoing responsibilities include directing Lean Manufacturing and Production Structure planning, and enhancing technical and operational capabilities to maintain a robust, secure, and reliable structure.

Developing Supply Chain and Warehouse strategies, architecture, and execution guidelines to support capacity growth and ongoing management.

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience as Head of Lean Manufacturing, Production Manager, or similar role for over 5 years in high-tech devices, with at least 3 years in the medical sector.
• Graduate level education in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience in international markets. Strong analytical skills to optimize and improve business needs based on sound business, financial, and technical knowledge, including expertise in CNC machines.
• Experience and proven track record in implementing Continuous Improvement and Process Quality initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Good understanding of business functions like Clinical Operations and Technical Operational Excellence.
• High competency in business production planning and advanced medical technology, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English. Proficient in technical data analysis, business processes, IT infrastructure, and MS Office.

The contract and salary terms will be based on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience.
