Descrizione del lavoro

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for a Production Engineer for a project based in Guardia Perticara for Tempa Rossa Site.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Smart Room:
  • Provide operational and technical support to Smart Room and Site;
  • Monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with the objective of minimizing site flaring, promptly identifying variables contributing to increased flare visibility at the Tempa Rossa Oil Centre;
  • Provide and ensure efficient process and technical support to the site operations team, covering wells, chemical management, production, processing, monitoring, and optimization activities;
  • Collaborate on process studies when requested and recommend performance optimization or upgrade of facilities;
  • Generate weekly reports on the volume of gas flared and the quantity of SO₂ emitted from both the flare and the incinerator;
  • Support analysis of environmental exceedances, contributing to corrective actions in line with the Environmental Monitoring Plan (PMA), and produce relevant documentation;
  • Summarize daily exceedances of air quality and odorous emission limits, as detected by TEEPIT's fixed monitoring network;
  • Design and maintain dashboards and visualizations in PI Vision, covering plant units and site-wide sensor data, including calculation logic development;
  • Analyze and optimize operational parameters and plant performance via dedicated monitoring tools using PI and PI-AF;
  • Carry out and support field activities such as test runs, performance tests, and fiscal metering operations;
  • Contribute to GHG emissions monitoring and FOPS-related actions within the CFR roadmap;
Continuous Emissions Monitoring:
  • Ensure monitoring of parameters at six emission points through the automatic emissions monitoring system (SME);
  • Promptly inform relevant personnel of anomalies or threshold exceedances;
  • Acquire and archive emission data daily, along with reports;
  • Prepare daily summary reports;
  • Interface with Site for troubleshooting during upsets and to gather information on anomalies, causes, corrective actions, and restoration;
Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare specific reports upon request (daily, weekly, monthly);
  • Draft, protocol, and obtain signatures for preventive and informative notes to Authorities per Regional Decree DGR 588/2021 (AIA);
  • Draft, protocol, and obtain signatures for installation upset notifications to Authorities, providing updates regularly;
  • Record anomalies (Production, Process, Environment) and corrective actions using the designated format;
  • Support CSR department with odor or air quality monitoring reports in case of neighbor complaints;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field;
  • 5-10 years of experience in process engineering, especially in oil and gas facilities;
  • Strong understanding of O&G processes, industry technologies, and process safety management;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with knowledge of heat and mass transfer, fluid flow, and energy conversion;
  • Fluent in Italian.
