Description

On behalf of a multinational company operating in the electrification and automation fields, we are looking for an R&D Product Testing Engineer.

The profile will focus on testing activities during the product development phases to validate the design at the system level of our application. You will be part of the development team in the R&D organization.

Your responsibilities

1. Build the test validation plan to execute and validate each prototype stage, from initial proof of concept to final Design Validation Test before production.
2. Own the full verification and validation product design process, including performance validation, thermal verification, product standard compliance testing, EMC, software and hardware integration testing, design margin verification, vehicle interoperability testing, functional testing, and power quality testing for both AC and DC sides.
3. Execute tests and generate test reports according to the test plan, including instrumentation and verification of standard and product requirements.
4. Share test results with the development team and drive improvements to meet product requirements.
5. Update all test plans based on evolving standards and lessons learned.
6. Develop automated product testing to improve time-to-market.

Your background

1. Master's degree in electronic/electrical engineering or STEM disciplines with a solid laboratory background.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a medium-high range company focusing on design and production as an Electrical/Electronic engineer.
3. Strong system approach to problem solving.
4. Electrical safety expertise to conduct tests at the product system level. Strong knowledge of electronic laboratory instruments (DC and AC sources, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
5. Background in Linux embedded systems and data logging.
6. Good knowledge of data analysis methods, test report writing, and switching power converters.

Required Skills:

• Master's degree in electronic/electrical engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a medium-high range company focusing on design and production as an Electrical/Electronic engineer.
• Strong knowledge of electronic laboratory instruments (DC and AC sources, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
