Accountabilities

  • Maximize sales of Amgen’s products in the territory
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Deliver key messages
  • Collaborate with manager to implement the agreed POA in line with marketing strategy
  • Identify and establish high-quality customer relationships and internal collaboration
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the product(s), market, stakeholders, and competitors
  • Work within agreed budgets
  • Live the Amgen Values

Authority

  • Implement the approved POA / key account plans
  • Implement planned promotional spending (any unplanned or significant expenses require further discussion with the field sales manager)

Outputs

  • Meet sales targets
  • Perform in accordance with the job description and POA objectives
  • Build high-quality internal and external customer relationships
  • Promote and uphold the image of Amgen in line with Amgen Values

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or (bio)medical sciences
  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related role
  • Relevant experience in a specialized area (hematology or oncology preferred)
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of local Value and Access themes
  • Basic knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment (not for specialist Sales Reps)
  • Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles
  • Experience in Hematology
  • Experience in customer engagement and multichannel strategies
  • Exposure to interdisciplinary interactions and organizational levels
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Located in Lazio (preferably Rome)
