Job summary

ACMA, part of Coesia, in Bologna, Italy, is seeking a Product Quality Manager to oversee quality across the entire product lifecycle for packaging machinery. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functional activities with Engineering, Manufacturing and after-sales, and ensure reliability and customer satisfaction on installed machines.

• Promote initiatives to reduce COPQ and improve product reliability.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Quality Manager to join our organization. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development through customer delivery and after‑sales support. The Product Quality Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, coordinates cross‑functional activities, and supports the enhancement of product reliability, robustness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
• minimum 5 years of experience in Product Quality, Quality Engineering, or similar roles within the automated machinery industry
• strong analytical skills and experience with structured problem‑solving methodologies
• experience in managing product non‑conformities and customer complaints
• good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• availability to travel to customer and supplier sites as required
• strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• customer‑focused mindset with a data‑driven approach

Our Offer:

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 47.200, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate’s qualifications and fit for the role. The compensation package may also include a variable component in the form of an annual bonus, which can reach 10% of base salary at target.

A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.

The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
