WorkWave, a rapidly growing leader in cloud-based workforce software for the field service and transportation industries, is looking for a Product Owner for the Italian office to help manage the Route Manager product development process. This is an important position on a great and solid team in a rapidly growing company, so there are ample opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyze with the Product Manager and the Engineering team functional requirements, write specs and User Stories (from vision to feature)
  • Evaluate and validate with Engineering the development efforts / costs of user stories for prioritization
  • Create and maintain the Product backlog
  • Lead sprint status meetings and document progress
  • Coordinate with the Product Manager and the Engineering team on necessary roadmap changes
  • Perfect and maintain product performance metrics
  • Support the Product Manager in activities of customer contact / Focus Groups
  • Act as Single Point of Contact with the Support team to : Collect and classify defects, schedule fixes according to perceived priority, provide product insights
  • Acquire deep product knowledge : Pre-sales supporting role to Sales for important deals, coordinate with Product Manager and Product Marketing Customer communication activities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (training or product management certifications are a plus)
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies (especially SCRUM)
  • Web / SaaS products development knowledge (PDLC)
  • Strong planning skills
  • Problem-solving and can-do attitude
  • Excellent communicator (internally and externally)
  • Proficiency with the English language, both written and spoken
  • Used to working in an international context
