Product Marketing and Inventory Intelligence Manager - Onitsuka Tiger

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Development Inventory Analyst / VMD to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Reports to Sales Director / Administrative Director / General Manager and CBO.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Travel and monitor the demands of online / offline stores in EMEA, responsible for VMD (including sales promotion related tools) that align with Global HQ direction.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights on competitors’ strategies and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, marketing, and sales initiatives to avoid missing sales opportunities due to lack of inventories.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Monitor industry developments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets.
  • Support the development of strategic plans and business cases.
  • Develop the merchandise planning process for offline / online commerce.
  • Establish assortment guidelines by product and store.
  • Improve demand forecasting and order accuracy, and develop relevant systems.
  • Perform other work as necessary when asked.

Internal : Product Marketing, Consumer Insight, Merchandise Team, Marketing and Sales, Store Managers.

  • At least 10 years of experience in product management or merchandising in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience with VMD in the premium lifestyle industry.
  • Good understanding of the premium lifestyle industry.
  • Sense of trends and developments in the premium / luxury lifestyle industry.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and draw conclusions.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint.
