We are seeking a Product Manager for our Business Unit Transmission. We provide advanced solutions for High Voltage Underground and Submarine cable links in challenging environments.
Your Role
- Manage a cohesive Product Portfolio aligned with company growth objectives.
- Define and drive product offerings, development, and commercialization.
- Identify and develop technical and commercial opportunities during pre-ITT stages.
- Country of Operation: ITALY (subject to change); Country of Responsibility: Worldwide.
- Customer profile includes TSO, Developers, O&G Operators, and Utilities.
Team Overview and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Enhancing client engagement to understand requirements, present products, and influence specifications.
- Gathering market data, conducting competitive analysis, and benchmarking.
- Maintaining technical knowledge, supporting industry standards, and participating in events.
- Guiding internal stakeholders and supporting R&D projects aligned with company strategy.
- Providing market insights to sales teams and supporting bid strategies and technical solutions.
- Reviewing product costs and advising on market pricing.
- Participating in tender and internal meetings.
- Managing product lifecycle, performance evaluation, and creating product roadmaps.
- Specifying requirements for current and future products.
Travel may be required globally.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in technical engineering.
- Deep technical knowledge of Submarine HVDC Cable Systems.
- Experience in engineering/technical roles within the cable industry.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of submarine and HV cable markets.
- Strong technical and commercial presentation skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented.
- Problem-solving, pragmatic, and capable of managing priorities.
- Ability to understand complex concepts and present them clearly.
- Quick learner and proactive.
- Proficient in MS Office, project planning, and presentation tools.
