For our client, an important company operating in the eyewear sector, we are looking for a Product Manager.
Position:
As a Product Developer/Manager specializing in eyewear, your primary responsibility is to oversee the development and management of a range of products. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing & Product Officer, this role requires a deep understanding of safety standards, market trends, and customer needs, as well as strong project management skills to bring new products from concept to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Research and identify market trends; Collaborate with design and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop new products that meet safety standards and address customer needs; Manage the product development process from ideation through prototyping, testing, and final production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Safety Compliance: Stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring all products comply with relevant requirements; Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary certifications and approvals.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the market, including assessing competitor products and pricing strategies; Develop product positioning and pricing strategies based on market research and competitive analysis.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product support; Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source materials, manage production schedules, and maintain quality standards.
- Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from customers, safety professionals, and industry experts to continuously improve existing products and identify opportunities for new product development; Provide product training and support to sales teams, distributors, and end-users as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, product design, business, or related field, advanced degree preferred;
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product development and management;
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback to drive product strategy;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
