Technogym in Cesena, Italy, is seeking a proactive Product Industrialization Engineer to join the Industrialization team at the HQ. You will work in a cross-functional setup with design and manufacturing to develop new products and sustain them through the lifecycle.

On-site presence is required. You will collaborate across departments to optimize design for cost, quality and manufacturability, delivering robust solutions and driving packaging and logistics efficiency.

Formación

• Mechanical, management and manufacturing engineering backgrounds are required.
• Problem-solving abilities and FMEA experience.
• Knowledge of DTC (Design to Cost), DTR / DFQ (Design for Reliability / Quality).
• Attention to detail and knowledge of main manufacturing technologies and assembly.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems, preferably PTC Creo.
• Strong Italian and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel for business trips.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and design mechanical solutions in collaboration with internal departments and suppliers.
• Re-engineer to reduce costs and solve problems.
• Define technical standard solutions for new products to ensure Quality, Safety and target Cost.
• Promote DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
• Identify new solutions, technologies or suppliers.
• Enhance product packaging industrial design concepts for consumer unpacking experience and logistics efficiency.
• Coordinate between R&D and Process Engineering to optimize manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with product development, styling, marketing, purchasing and logistics teams.
• Plan activities and monitor progress across internal and external resources.

Your Role

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and curious Product Industrialization Engineer with design and manufacturing competencies and passion to join the Industrialization staff in our HQ (Italy-Cesena). The person will work in cross-functional team and cooperate with all departments to develop new products and maintain them along the lifecycle. Work in presence is needed.

Your Impact

• Develop and design mechanical solutions in collaboration with internal departments and suppliers
• Re-engineering to cost reduction and problem solving
• Develop and define technical standard solutions for new products in order to achieve Quality, Safety and target Cost
• Promote DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)
• Find new solutions, technologies or suppliers
• Grant the development of innovative product packaging industrial design concepts that enhance consumer unpacking experience, logistics efficiency including ship, truck, and warehouses.
• Grant connection between R&D and Process Engineering Department in order to have the best product with the best manufacturing process
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, mainly product development, style center, marketing, purchasing, process engineering and logistic teams.
• Coordinate internal and external resources by planning activities and monitoring progress

• Mechanical, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical diploma
• Problem-solving abilities and FMEA user
• Knowledge of DTC (Design to Cost), DTR / DFQ (Design for Reliability / Quality)

• Knowledge of the main manufacturing technologies and assembly
• Knowledge of mechanical design and 3D CAD systems, preferably PTC Creo
• Knowledge of Office packages in particular ExcelTeam Player
• Strong practical sense
• Good level of Italian and English
• Available for business trips

Compensation Data

We believe great work deserves great recognition. For this role, we offer an annual gross salary (RAL) between €35,000 and €45,000, based on your level of experience, technical skills, and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici).
