Job Opening: Product Group Manager (M/F)

Häfele, a leading company in the development, production, and distribution of furniture and building hardware, LED lighting, and electronic access control systems, is seeking to hire a Product Group Manager on a one-year fixed-term contract.

Reporting directly to the Product & Category Manager Italy, the selected candidate will primarily be responsible for:

1. Managing the lifecycle of one or more product ranges, supporting planning activities and monitoring product performance.
2. Identifying and introducing new products to meet and expand the company's market and customer needs.
3. Participating in global competence teams for new product development.
4. Conducting market analysis and research to identify optimal product features, evaluate new products and suppliers, and analyze technical characteristics and prices, including participation in trade fairs.
5. Managing relationships and initial negotiations with external suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department.
6. Creating and maintaining relationships with relevant suppliers and headquarters, assisting in problem resolution and suggesting improvements when necessary.
7. Providing technical support via phone to sales staff and customers, offering details and clarifications about Häfele Italy's products and services.
8. Supporting the sales team in promoting products through visits, presentations, and participation in industry fairs.
9. Collaborating with the commercial department to develop new solutions and expand business opportunities.
10. Assisting the marketing department with technical product communication through catalogs, articles, editorials, and event organization.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in architecture, design, engineering, or economic disciplines.
• Good written and spoken knowledge of English (at least B1 level).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Experience in the hardware, wood, or furniture sector.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and team-oriented approach.
