Job summary

Argotec, a leader in space systems, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join the Engineering Unit. You will drive the design and development of avionics and satellite platforms, coordinating with systems engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to deliver high-quality space solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in product design and development, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production.

Job description

To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Product Development Engineer who will be part of our Engineering Unit, contributing to the development of avionics systems and satellite platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and sales, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative space solutions.

DUTIES

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production;

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors;

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Proven experience in product design and development;
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and PLM systems;
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles;
• Experience with testing, validation, and root cause analysis;
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ECSS, ISO 9001);
• Basic understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira);
• Familiarity with defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product value and performance;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Adaptability to shifting requirements and stakeholders’ needs;
• Continuous learning attitude and commitment to excellence.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

• Proven experience in product development, preferably on avionics systems in space, defense, and aeronautics industries;
• Experience with space and defense-related technologies and systems, including satellite platforms and avionics systems;
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies;
• Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines.

SALARY RANGE:

30.000 - 40.000 EUR
