Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of new products for each collection, including prototypes and samples, and manage technical information for all new products (LG, SLG, Belts, Jewels, etc.).
• Report to LG Industrial Director.
• Collaborate with Design and Marketing teams to define product and material requirements, manage development budgets, and ensure product margins by working with production, purchasing, and industrialization departments.
• Propose technical and innovative ideas to improve product quality and cost-efficiency.
• Develop new materials in partnership with Sourcing teams.
• Manage pattern-making and prototyping to meet schedules.
• Ensure technical data systems (BOMs, PDM) are complete for sourcing and production planning.
• Participate in review meetings to assess product feasibility and manufacturability.
• Implement development procedures and milestones, applying brand quality and aesthetic standards.
• Lead the daily management and development of the team, providing vision, motivation, and feedback.
• Organize Pattern Making and Prototyping departments, overseeing approximately 50 staff members.

Additional Information

Education : University degree in Economics, Engineering, Fashion, or related fields.

Professional Background : Minimum 10 years in a Development Department within the Fashion Industry, with strong knowledge of products and manufacturing processes, and experience managing relationships with Design, Marketing, and Production teams.

Skills : Management and organizational skills, decision-making in complex environments, agility, innovation, delegation, and team building.

Languages : Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
