Rodgy Guerrera and Partners seeks a Freelance Product Design Developer Coordinator to bridge creative vision with technical execution for a new eyewear collection. You will lead development from concept through prototyping, industrialisation and certification, coordinating manufacturers, suppliers and partners.

The role is hands-on, highly collaborative and requires deep knowledge of eyewear construction, materials and QC, with strong project management and international stakeholder coordination.

Competenze

• Between 10 and 15 years of experience in luxury eyewear.
• Strong technical knowledge of eyewear construction and manufacturing.
• Proven experience in product development and industrialisation.
• Excellent understanding of materials, components, hinges, hardware and finishing techniques.
• Experience working directly with eyewear manufacturers and specialist suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of prototyping, fitting, testing and quality control.
• Familiarity with eyewear certification and relevant international standards.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and development phases simultaneously.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and solution-driven.
• Strong aesthetic sensitivity and ability to protect a Creative Director’s vision.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Languages: Italian, French and/or English.
• Willingness to travel among Switzerland, France and Italy.

Freelance Product Design Developer Coordinator - High Luxury Eyewear

High Luxury Sunglasses | International Emerging Brand

For a young, international and emerging high-luxury sunglasses brand, we are looking for a Freelance Product Design Developer Coordinator to support the Founder of the brand also Creative Director in the development and launch of a new eyewear collection.

This is a hands-on and highly collaborative role, combining creative sensitivity, technical expertise, product development and manufacturing coordination.

The ideal candidate will act as the link between the creative vision and its technical and industrial execution, ensuring that each product reaches the highest standards of design, craftsmanship, quality and functionality.

THE MISSION

The Freelance Product Design Developer Coordinator will oversee the development of the new sunglasses collection from the initial creative concept through to prototyping, industrialisation, certification and production readiness.

Working closely with the Founder, the role will coordinate manufacturers, suppliers and technical partners, ensuring that the creative vision is translated into sophisticated, technically viable and production-ready eyewear.

THE PROFILE

• Between 10 and 15 years of experience in luxury / high-luxury eyewear, preferably sunglasses.
• Strong technical knowledge of eyewear construction and manufacturing.
• Proven experience in product development and industrialisation.
• Excellent understanding of materials, components, hinges, hardware and finishing techniques.
• Experience working directly with eyewear manufacturers and specialist suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of prototyping, fitting, testing and quality control.
• Familiarity with eyewear certification and relevant international standards.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and development phases simultaneously.
• A highly analytical, detail-oriented and solution-driven approach.
• Strong aesthetic sensitivity and the ability to understand and protect a Creative Director’s vision.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Languages: Italiano, French and/or English.
• bWillingness to travel between Switzerland, France, and Italy as required.
• It would involve a 6 months collaboration, 7-days per month.
