Footwear Developer – Avant-Garde Luxury Brand

Location: Flexible within Italy (with national mobility)

Our client is an iconic avant-garde luxury brand, globally recognized for its unique approach to

fashion, strong creative identity, and uncompromising vision. The company operates internationally and values creativity, precision, and forward-thinking talent.

We are looking for a passionate and creatively driven Footwear Developer to join an avant-garde

luxury fashion house known for its radical aesthetic and strong design identity. This is a unique

opportunity to be directly involved in the creation and development of Men’s and Women’s

footwear collections—spanning both runway and pre-collections—while closely collaborating with

the creative director and the Head of Collections Development & Merchandising.

You will work in close contact with their manufacturing partners, primarily located in the Marche

region, and will play a central role in transforming design visions into technically executable, high-

quality footwear.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of footwear collections from concept to prototype
• Translate creative input into technically accurate documentation for sample development
• Coordinate directly with the footwear development team and factories
• Manage development timelines and ensure milestones are met across multiple projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and production
• Participate in fittings and prototype reviews, contributing creatively and technically

Who You Are

• 3 to 5 years of experience in footwear development within the fashion or luxury sectors
• Strong creative sensibility with excellent drawing and sketching abilities
• Solid understanding of construction, pattern-making, and technical development
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Driving license required
• Flexibility to travel within Italy (especially to the Marche and Reggio Emilia regions) as needed

Location flexible within Italy, with availability to be on-site when required
