Blackboard Studio is building a family of iconic consumer software products that enable everyone to live a better, more fulfilling, and more productive life.

We're a small, focused team spread across Europe who've cracked the code on building and scaling products people actually want. With products already serving hundreds of thousands of users, we're gearing up to launch several more across different categories in 2025.

As a Product Designer at Blackboard, you'll be crafting delightful experiences that reach millions of users.

You'll be working on multiple products simultaneously, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities. One day, you might be redesigning the onboarding flow for our iOS consumer app, the next, you could be creating the brand identity for an entirely new product. You should be passionate about creating intuitive, engaging experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of the entire design process.

Full-time / part-time.

Location

Milan (Italy) or remote.

What you'll do :

• Own the end-to-end design process from research to implementation
• Create beautiful, intuitive interfaces that delight users
• Work closely with engineering and product to ship features quickly
• Write clear, compelling UX copy and product messaging
• Design and maintain our design system
• Create brand identities for new products
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning

What we're looking for :

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI / UX design skills for both Web and Mobile products
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Expert knowledge of Figma and modern design tools
• Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging product copy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions
• Basic understanding of front-end development principles
