Jobtailor is seeking an experienced UX/UI Lead to drive the end-to-end design of our product app and design system. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and marketing to ship features that boost engagement and retention.

You bring 4+ years designing mobile apps, a strong live portfolio, and a track record of presenting to C-suite leadership. Based in Milan with occasional travel to San Francisco, you will mentor designers and define design direction.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in UX and UI
• Strong portfolio including live mobile examples
• Experience shipping designs to public users with data demonstrating success or failure
• Ability to consider technical implications of design decisions and balance user value with technical effort
• Experience coaching junior designers and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers
• Ability to manage the design process end to end in ambiguous environments
• Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often
• Ability to write clear agendas and decks and present design evolutions to C‑Suite leadership
• Openness to occasional travel to other office locations (San Francisco, Milan) for in‑person collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in a related design field or equivalent experience
• Bonus: experience building iconic consumer‑facing mobile apps at small and mid‑size tech startups with supporting data and reviews
• Bonus: experience designing mobile apps for Android
