Role Overview

City Wonders is seeking a Destination Coordinator (Product Coordinator) to support business growth. Reporting to a centralized 'Shared Services' function, this role supports our Destination Management Department. Working collaboratively with multiple departments, you will handle daily destination management tasks for a specific location.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain relationships across departments including Operations, Purchasing, and Guide Scheduling, while completing daily operational tasks.
  2. Support daily operations and relationships with venues and suppliers.
  3. Understand logistical operations, including ticketing requirements for key venues, to support Destination Managers and Supervisors.
  4. Manage product files, including food, beverage, and transport details, upon approval from the Destination Manager.
  5. Ensure data and pricing are accurate and live on our website and distribution partners.
  6. Assist with ad-hoc and quarterly product updates, ensuring deadlines and instructions are clear and accurate.
  7. Provide vacation and sick leave coverage for colleagues as needed.
  8. Occasionally participate in tours to report on operations, quality, and supplier support.
  9. Travel within Italy for product-related purposes may be required.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by your Destination Manager or line manager.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must reside in Rome.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience accepted.
  • Professional, positive attitude with empathetic and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and motivate others.
  • Self-motivated, organized, able to work independently and in a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web applications.
  • Effective communicator.
Working Hours & Travel

Standard hours are 40 per week, either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility for changes. Out-of-hours assistance may be required for emergencies. The role is based in Rome with hybrid working options.
