Qualifications

• Laurea magistrale in ingegneria (preferibile Meccanica/Elettrica/Elettronica/Management).
• Buona conoscenza o disponibilità ad apprendere normative export control.
• Competenza in MS Office e ambiente SAP.
• Organizzato, preciso e affidabile nella gestione documentale.
• Mentalità imprenditoriale, proattività, flessibilità e autonomia.
• Buone capacità comunicative e lavoro di squadra.
• Buone competenze in inglese.

Responsibilities

• Fornire classificazione di prodotti, software e tecnologie nell'introduzione di nuovi prodotti.
• Gestire e aggiornare i dati master: descrizioni, codice HTS, ECCN e supporto agli sdoganatori.
• Guidare i team su richieste o problemi di classificazione.
• Rivedere cambiamenti normativi relativi alla classificazione dei prodotti.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide customs and export control classification for ABB products, purchased third-party products, software, and raw materials. Each day, you will ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by conducting thorough research and analysis of ABB products to determine the appropriate product classification codes and standards.

The Work Model For The Role Is

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing classification of products, software, and/or technologies as part of new product introduction cycle.
• Managing and updating master data for products, technologies, and software, including product description, Harmonized Tariff Scheme (HTS) code, and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), etc., and/or supporting customs declarants with product information required for master data management and entries.
• Providing guidance and support to relevant teams regarding product classification-related inquiries or issues.
• Reviewing and applying relevant changes in the regulatory framework related to product classification.

Qualifications For The Role

• Good knowledge or high willingness to learn about ELSP products, software and technologies that requires classification
• Master degree (5 years) in engineering fields (preferred Mechanic, Electric, Electronic, Management)
• Good knowledge or high willingness to learn about customs and export control regulations
• Good skills in MS Office and SAP environment
• Well organized and precise, diligent in data management and archiving of documentary evidence.
• Business mind-set, responsiveness, and flexibility, pro-active and self-dependent.
• Team player with good communication skills
• Good English skills
• When working in a local Business, the PCE has a functional reporting line to the Local Trade Compliance Officer, and occasionally may be approached by the country trade compliance officer to support the classification of an item on ad hoc basis

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

• Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico
• Minimum annual salary: € 39.000
• Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
