Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
- Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
- Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
- Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure development targets and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business by exploiting opportunities presented by current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap.
- Deliver market and product requirements.
- Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
- Act as program/project manager for beta and discovery programs with early-stage products and samples, overseeing new product development activities.
- Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise in the application field and competition.
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration and promote trust among teams.
- Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA is a plus.
- Solid experience as a Product Manager/Business Developer in the food & beverage industry (both on customer and supplier sides).
- Proven success in defining and launching market components/devices.
- Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards.
- Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Problem analysis, strategic thinking, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with adaptability to shifting priorities and rapid changes.
- Availability to travel at least 50% of the time.
