Job Description:
The position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
- Defining the product roadmap by researching and analyzing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
- Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
- Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
- Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business, leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap.
- Deliver market and product requirements.
- Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
- Manage programs/projects to plan and execute beta and discovery programs with early-stage products and samples, overseeing new product development activities.
- Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise as an industry expert.
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration and trust among teams.
- Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus.
- Solid experience as a Product Manager or Business Developer in the food & beverage industry (both customer and supplier sides).
- Proven success in launching components/devices on the market.
- Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards.
- Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Excellent teamwork and influence skills across functions.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with data analysis skills.
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills, adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
