Job Description:

Permanent responsibilities:

The SCQ manager shall ensure the quality of equipment and products (Electrical, RF, mechanical, and propulsion) purchased from external suppliers within a specific program.

Normative and Standards:

The SCQ must understand the fundamentals of Quality Management Systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN 9100, AQAP 2110, and ECSS requirements, especially series Q. The candidate should manage external/internal standards to ensure product quality throughout all project phases, including:

• Conformity with EC Directives (CE marking, WEE, RoHS)
• Compliance with Reach Regulation
• Compliance with ECSS series Q

Location: Torino

Task description:

Proposal phase:

• The candidate will participate in the upstream phase of projects, collaborating with buyers and engineering during supplier selection to verify conformity to:
• Customer quality requirements (product assurance and safety)
• Specific Statement of Work and Statement of Applicability
• Technical specifications
• Qualification status of proposed hardware

EQSR and Design Reviews phase:

• The SCQ will participate in main subcontractor reviews, verifying qualification status and compliance with project requirements, managing EQSR reviews, and assessing maturity levels for technical and quality aspects.

Monitoring during manufacturing, testing, and delivery:

• The SCQ shall monitor quality and delivery performance, managing quality during manufacturing, qualification testing, and delta qualification activities, including handling Rejection and Deviation reviews.

General skills:

• Managing inspection points, non-conformities, deviations, waivers, and alerts
• Preparing quality reports
• Coordinating quality disciplines across project phases

Personal requirements:

• Master's degree or PhD in scientific subjects
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent knowledge of Italian
• Teamwork attitude
