AbbVie in Italy is seeking a Senior Specialist, Procurement Operations, Site Business Enablement to lead source-to-contract procurement activities in alignment with business goals and compliance policies. You will manage supplier records, open orders, and drive day-to-day procurement process excellence across sites.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, strong communication skills, and a solution-focused mindset.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related business or operations function.
• Previous experience in procurement activities, including source to contract, requisition to pay and negotiation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform).
• Proficiency in SAP/S4Hana preferred
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, direct materials preferred
• Innovative problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset and clear communication at all levels
• Impactful executive functioning abilities, autonomous work ethic and ability to perform in challenging situations
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple projects
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate multi-divisional processes
• Multilingual preferred

• Be a subject matter expert over Procurement processes across multiple categories within the Procurement Team.
• Lead development, deployment and execution of process efficiency projects to improve customer experience.
• Execute procurement, sourcing, and contracting processes with accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support and promote continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Enable team goals and ensure performance targets are met.
• Collaborate across procurement, legal, and site colleagues to optimize outcomes.
• Mentor junior team members and develop procurement expertise.
