Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and handle daily material usage requirements to ensure no material interruption and excess inventory.
2. Develop and collaborate with business partners to develop and implement regional raw material sourcing strategies.
3. Understand current and future business requirements and conduct in-depth market and supplier analyses over the short, medium, and long term.
4. Produce relevant reports and analyses to coordinate forward purchase plans by analyzing the items and amounts to be spent.
5. Coordinate sourcing changes, working on the preferred supplier list.
6. Evaluate supplier quotations based on the local raw material portfolio.
7. Support business units at the EMEA level in emergency cases.
8. Align operations between plants within the region.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or equivalent.
• Understand internal and external customer demands and proactively act.
• Proficient in spreadsheet applications.
• Accurately identify risks affecting supply, transformation, and customer demand.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in evolving environments.
• Remain focused, efficient, and independent under pressure while prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Advantages

• Prior experience in the chemical industry.
• Experience with ERP software is an advantage.
