We are a growing team looking for a Procurement officer to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Procurement officer, you will work to ensure the quality and accuracy of data analysis which can be used to optimize cost predictions, run variance analysis, and develop key metrics and performance indicators.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :

  • Use automated tools to extract data and perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data;
  • Develop, maintain, and reorganize master data in a readable format;
  • Analyze domestic and international industry trends (including seasonality and regulations) that impact Company’s costs;
  • Monitor market updates (e.g fuel price, surcharges, etc.) and provide inputs to internal stakeholders;
  • Run cost analysis to predict carrier costs, monitoring actuals vs budget and track savings;
  • Help on develop ad-hoc report and analysis;
  • Backup Senior Pricing Manager and Tariff Management Specialist if necessary.

PREFERABLY YOU ARE :

  • Graduated in either Engineering, Business, Mathematics or other related fields;
  • An excellent user of Microsoft Office, in particular excel / Google sheet;
  • Able to work as part of a team in order to achieve high-standards goals;
  • Able to clearly communicate with different team members;
  • Rigorous and methodical;
  • Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced start-up environment;
  • Fully fluent both in English & Italian.
