A leading luxury goods company in Milan is seeking an experienced procurement professional to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with regional and global objectives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on excellence and collaboration.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional experience in sourcing and procurement.
• Proven experience in international and matrix environments.
• Fluency in English.

Descrizione del lavoro

How will you make an impact? You will:

Lead and develop the Procurement Function:

• Develop and promote the procurement function, engage with key stakeholders
• Develop and implement the local procurement strategy, in line with Regional and Global Procurement strategy

Drive Procurement Excellence:

• Implement procurement tools and best practices
• Ensure compliance with the 231 models, the suppliers code of conduct and the company code of ethics
• Train, coach and support stakeholders
• Track and report performance and compliance

Optimize sourcing and provide sourcing support to Maison and Functions:

• Partner with stakeholders to establish sourcing strategies
• Setup and manage preferred suppliers
• Lead major tenders and negotiations to obtain best conditions
• Lead or support supplier relationship management

General service:

• Support on the inventory tracking and control with active attendance to the company inventory counts concerning POS material and packaging
• Overseeing and coordinating general services activities (e.g. travels, shipment, ect)
• Ensures the smooth and efficient operation of facilities, equipment, building maintenance
• Manage the Company car fleet, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and assignment. Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Supervise and maintain the company approval matrix, the suppliers 360° workstream, the suppliers master data in collaboration with the dedicated Group functions

• You have a strong hands-on approach
• You are an established and versatile sourcing and procurement professional with 5+ years of professional experience ideally in international and matrix environments.
• You have strong negotiation skills and are capable of engaging suppliers at an executive level on diverse spending categories.
• You have excellent communication skills and are capable to work with diverse and demanding stakeholders in a challenging and fast-paced environment to build and drive collaborations, foster the best practices, and deliver concrete results.
• You are structured and have excellent analytical skills.
• You are fluent in English.
