Bata Italy is seeking a Procurement & Loss Prevention Intern to join the Procurement & Loss Prevention Department. You will support inventory management, stock tracking through ERP systems, data updates, and process improvement initiatives. The role offers on-site training with potential smart working days.

The ideal candidate is a university student or graduate in economics or statistics, proficient with Excel, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a PROCUREMENT & LOSS PREVENTION INTERN to join the Procurement & Loss Prevention Department to support the team in particular in the loss prevention activities. The resource will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic context, supporting the optimisation of store operations and administrative processes. xpavfwm The resource will support the team in managing inventory, tracking stock through ERP systems, updating databases, participating in inventories, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

KEY CHALLENGES:

• Support in monitoring stock and goods movements with the use of ERP software to control stock flows
• Support in conducting inventories on direct or franchise stores
• Support the opening and closing inventories via dedicated platforms and direct participation in inventories at stores
• Support in loss prevention activities by carrying out verification activities to prevent or detect fraud
• Support in process mapping and optimisation by collaborating in the revision of internal procedures, ensuring greater efficiency and standardisation
