Procurement & Expeditor Coordinator - (Offshore) - Energy, Oil & Gas Project
General Description Of Role And Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities for projects in the MENA and Europe regions, including sourcing, bidding, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and track project budgets and expenses related to procurement.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to identify procurement needs and develop procurement plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international laws and regulations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors, and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Assist with contract negotiations and manage contract changes and amendments
- Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities to project managers and senior management.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
- Work experience of 8+ years in the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
- Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
