CEVA Logistics seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee indirect procurement for Italy, including Warehouse Equipment, aligning with global and local strategies.

The role reports to the Regional Category Manager and involves sourcing projects, supplier relations, and negotiations to secure quality, reliability and competitive total cost. Fluency in Italian and English, plus ERP/e-sourcing experience, are expected.

Mansioni

• Translate regional category strategies into local procurement plans and set priorities with internal stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing: requirements analysis, supplier selection, tendering, bid evaluation and negotiations.
• Coordinate contract finalization with Legal and ensure compliance with approval requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and working capital optimization in equipment TCO.
• Promote use of regional/global agreements and improve contract coverage.
• Manage supplier performance and drive corrective actions for quality and delivery issues.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to meet equipment specs and operational needs.
• Track procurement KPIs, project progress and benefits with Finance.

CEVA Logistics is looking for a Procurement Manager to manage the indirect procurement for all Products with country scope plus the Warehouse Equipment category in Italy, aligning procurement activities with global and regional strategies and local business needs.

Reporting to the Regional Category Manager, you will manage sourcing projects, commercial negotiations and supplier relationships within your category. You will work closely with Operations, Finance and other business functions to secure solutions that deliver quality, reliability and competitive total cost.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate regional category strategies into local procurement plans, agreeing priorities and activities with internal stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including requirements analysis, supplier identification and qualification, tendering, bid evaluation and commercial negotiations.
• Recommend supplier selection and coordinate contract finalization with Legal, in accordance with delegated authority and approval requirements.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for cost savings, working capital optimization and improvements in equipment total cost of ownership.
• Promote the use of global and regional agreements, consolidate demand and improve contract coverage.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and agree corrective actions to address quality, service or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with Operations and technical teams to assess equipment specifications and identify solutions that meet operational needs.
• Track and report procurement KPIs, project progress and financial results, validating benefits with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement and Purchase-to-Pay policies and incorporate sustainability criteria into purchasing activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools, sharing best practices across the regional network.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant procurement experience, including independent management of sourcing projects, negotiations and contracts.
• Sound knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to analyze spend, cost structures, payment terms and savings opportunities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with an analytical and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to build effective relationships, negotiate and influence stakeholders across functions in a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP systems and e-sourcing or procurement tools.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English.

Experience in logistics or 3PL, knowledge of warehouse and industrial equipment—including purchasing, leasing and maintenance arrangements—and a Procurement or Supply Chain certification would be an advantage.
