Job summary

newcleo is recruiting a Procurement Assistant to join the Italian Supply Chain and Procurement team in Torino. The role focuses on running compliant procurements, supporting R&D, Engineering and Project Delivery with strong emphasis on process rigour and supplier engagement.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in procurement, ERP experience and solid IT skills, and is fluent in English and Italian. The position is a 12-month contract with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business management, Supply chain or related field.
• At least two years in a procurement and supply chain role.
• ERP and procurement system experience.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement pipeline to deliver best value.
• Develop Italian procurement plan aligned with global plan.
• Take responsibility for multiple procurement categories.
• Develop and implement procurement processes and systems.
• Draft commercial agreements to protect Newcleo’s position.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and supplier agreements.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Coordinate with Contract Management for smooth handover.
• Maintain procurement trackers and data accuracy.
• Monitor procurement performance and implement corrective actions.
• Support supplier development programmes as needed.
