Join our team at Vallen as a Buyer. You will purchase products and materials to meet our high standards of price, quality, and reliability of supply. You may support a distribution center, warehouse, client, or vendor to ensure timely delivery.

Essential duties include SAP-based procurement, reviewing GAINS forecasts, placing requisitions, and maintaining supplier relationships. We offer growth opportunities within a diverse, inclusive environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or related field.
• 1+ year procurement experience; CPM preferred.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Perform procurement to meet demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Review forecast and replenishment suggestions from GAINS.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor orders.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of products; coordinate returns.
• Negotiate returns for aging/excess inventory.
• Communicate order status with internal/external customers.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Resolve payable discrepancies with suppliers.
