Onshore C&P Procurement & Freight Expeditor

Location: Milan
Status: Residential with trips in country
Start: June 2025
Duration: 12 month renewable contract


Onshore Procurement and Freight Expeditor is responsible for performing simple procurement, conducting expediting duties, analyzing and monitoring freight activities related to the management of the EPC contracts for the Onshore package of the project. The associated EPC contract value is circa $3 Billion for 3 years, +/- 200 PO, 1000 Inspections, and 400 Shipments.


Activities

  1. Ensure that the EPC Contract procurement and freight-related activities are performed in accordance with the agreed contractual terms and conditions and Company procedures.
  2. Review and comment on the monthly analysis of the EPC Contractor Contract Material Status report.
  3. Expedite, monitor, control, and report all procurement activities conducted by the EPC Contractor in coordination with the Engineering team and QA QC lead.
  4. Share any planning risks with the Project Control team.
  5. Analyze and review the freight profile of the EPC Contractor (i.e., subcontractor equipment, aggregate, construction material, fuel, etc.).
  6. Analyze and review TBL utilization study based on readiness of the berth at TBL and MOF versus EPC Contract equipment readiness for shipment and challenge CTR for mitigation of any potential unloading bottlenecks at Site.
  7. Propose appropriate freight forwarding strategy for CPY items considering EPC Project occupation of the unloading facilities (route, vessel type, etc.) to enhance material delivery at site.
  8. Establish contractual correspondence, logs, and filing related to Procurement expediting activities.
  9. Control the progress/milestones in view of monthly payment release to Contractor.
  10. Report and inform transversal entities (i.e., Construction, Freight, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Project Control) of scheduled completion for the EPC Contract Purchase Order and shipments associated.
  11. Monitor EPC Contractor international shipment activities, liaising with TEPMA1 air/land/port and with technical logistics on all operational matters when necessary.
  12. Prior to Sea Shipment, ensure and coordinate mobilization of Marine Warranty Surveyor.
  13. Ensure EPC Contractor custom clearance readiness and documentary conformity prior to shipment and at arrival.
  14. Liaise effectively with TEPMA1 administrative logistics (custom relations) in the effort to secure relevant permits, approvals, and shipping documentation for the Freight Forwarding function.

Accountabilities

To manage and administrate post-contract activities related to Onshore EPC Contracts in liaison with all TEPMA1 entities and in particular C&P Entity.


Qualifications/Experience Required

  1. Experienced with EPC/EPCC international Projects, Procurement, Freight, and strong knowledge in project execution and proven experience in Oil & Gas project.
  2. Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics; Business school or equivalent.
  3. Professional experience: 10 years – minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  4. Knowledge of Procurement / Expediting / Freight Forwarding development and administrative processes in a project environment, in an international context.
  5. Skills to administrate multi-support reports, multitask coordination, and interfacing with transversal stakeholders.
  6. Problem Solving and planning / coordinating / organizing / reporting / controlling.
  7. Languages: good command of English mandatory.
