Manufacturing Technology (MFT) Process Technologist is a stimulating and diverse role where colleagues have the opportunity to both sustain and advance the product portfolio in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. The role holder is the focal point for a range of Infineum and/or third-party manufacturing units and has operational responsibilities for lab units in Milton Hill, including supervision of Process Chemists. It includes being a team member and leader in various crucial projects, ranging from process improvements to new site/supplier approvals, component substitutions, and new product development. The role requires influencing and leadership across numerous interfaces, including manufacturing, suppliers & toll processors, technology, procurement, PSRC, strategic planning, marketing, sales, and supply chain.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking MFT lead for assigned units, supporting operations, and driving manufacturing process improvements at both Infineum and third-party sites.
- Leading or supporting the planning and supervising the execution of plant trials, COGS/capacity improvements, and capability projects.
- Supporting and in later stages leading new product development projects and commercialization, defining the manufacturing process, and providing the bridge between laboratory and full-scale production.
- Capturing knowledge and furthering fundamental understanding of processes and products.
- Managing approval programs for new manufacturing sites and raw material/component sources.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to respond to supply security incidents and customer complaints.
