Bridgestone seeks a Process Leader to optimize end-to-end value streams via Lean Manufacturing. You will partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Maintenance to drive waste reduction and lead-time improvements, delivering value from raw materials to final delivery.

Responsibilities include mapping value streams, applying 5S/SMED/TPM, tracking OEE and WIP, and standardizing processes. Advanced English is required; Master’s in Engineering is preferred, with 2–3 years in

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Management, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing environments with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in cross-functional improvement projects and structured manufacturing organizations is preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

About the Role

Job Purpose

The Process Leader supports the optimization of end-to-end value streams through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on reducing waste and lead times, improving flow and efficiency, and creating value from raw materials to final delivery.

The position works cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and Management teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support and facilitate Lean and Kaizen initiatives, applying 5S, SMED, TPM, JIT, and Standard Work.
• Analyze and improve production flow, line balancing, cycle/takt times, WIP, and operator allocation.
• Support cross-functional continuous improvement projects, monitoring timing, resources, costs, and expected benefits.
• Monitor key KPIs, including OEE, Lead Time, Takt Time, Cycle Time, Productivity, and WIP.
• Define and standardize SOPs and Standard Work to sustain improvements.
• Analyze operational data and identify root causes using 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto analysis.
• Support process, layout, ergonomics, and workstation optimization activities.

Education

Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Management, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

2–3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, or Value Stream Management.

Experience in cross-functional improvement projects and structured manufacturing organizations is preferred.

Skills

• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, and VSM.
• Experience in process optimization, time studies, line balancing, and flow improvement.
• Knowledge of OEE, Lead Time, Takt Time, Cycle Time, productivity, and WIP management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic project management skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and CAD/layout software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage shop-floor teams.
• Pragmatic, results-oriented, and Gemba-based mindset.
• Team-oriented and proactive approach.

Language

Advanced English, written and spoken.
