Process Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Process Engineering Manager to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). Based in Pisa, you will oversee the entire process lifecycle, from R&D to production, and lead a team to improve efficiency, yield, and quality in PIC fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize processes for PIC manufacturing, including cleanroom operations.
• Work closely with design and testing teams to ensure smooth process integration.
• Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and cost reduction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering for photonics or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of photonic fabrication techniques (etching, deposition, lithography).
• Leadership experience with a focus on process optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
