Position Overview

This technical role operates within the Industrialization and Technologies area and reports directly to the Technology Management. The candidate's responsibilities include:

1. Applying technical knowledge to machine interventions and proposing modifications/solutions
2. Defining standard cycles and times, and managing them through the ERP system
3. Improving ergonomics of production equipment
4. Optimizing resource utilization (machine pairings, setup reduction)
5. Supporting equipment design
6. Managing relationships with external suppliers for project success
7. Defining tool selection and procurement
8. Programming CNC machines and robots (preferred but not mandatory)
9. Conducting statistical process control and commissioning new machinery
10. Supporting 'make vs buy' analyses
11. Contributing to the calculation of economical machining batches
12. Participating in the industrialization of new products (new cycles, machine investments, tooling, and equipment)
13. Assisting Production in manpower planning based on production volumes
14. Contributing to continuous improvement actions
15. Handling prototypes, costing, etc.
16. Identifying and eliminating causes of deviations from standard production

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Mechanical Technician / Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles within modernized organizations in the metalworking sector (series and custom production).

Additional qualities include:

• Good knowledge of English
• Proficiency with relevant software tools, especially 2D/3D design software (preferably CAD/CAM), and Microsoft Office

Work Location and Travel

The workplace is in Ganaceto, Modena. Travel to other production sites in Southern Italy is expected, along with potential international trips. Availability for travel and relocation is required.
