Process Engineer for Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Plant (m / f / d)

Umfang

Full-time. As an experienced process engineer, you will be responsible for the development, design, and management of projects in the pharmaceutical industry. You should have proven skills in process engineering, with the capabilities and willingness to solve problems and interface with team members, contractors, and customers to lead project teams.

You will oversee the technical execution and management of projects.

1. Implementation of process design and calculations in different project phases
2. Preparation of tender documentation and supplier alignment
3. Preparation of P&IDs
4. Implementation of customer requirements
5. Project management and execution
6. Commissioning of plants

Qualification / Validation according to GMP

Depending on workload and project size, the ability to perform technical work in process engineering (material and heat balances, PFDs, P&IDs, EDS) is required.

Your profile

You hold a Master’s degree in chemical engineering with over 5 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You are accustomed to working independently within a professional team. You possess good problem-solving and communication skills, are customer-oriented, and have the right attitude for conflict management.

• Good knowledge of upstream & downstream processes, washing, and sterilization-in-place systems (SIP / CIP)
• Good knowledge of c-GMP, ISPE, FDA guidelines
• Previous experience in biotechnology is preferred
