Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.a.s. di Externa Italia S.r.l.u. in Pinerolo is seeking a Process Engineer to join our R&D team, where you will qualify and validate processes and develop new technologies for innovative products.

You will prepare documentation, write protocols and reports, perform tests, and continuously improve process technologies while coordinating with global teams. Italian and English language proficiency is required; travel internationally 20–30%.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in mechanical/mechatronics/industrial engineering; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Process engineering background in manufacturing/industrial settings with strong mechanical/mechatronic foundation
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, validation, and continuous improvement
• 1–3 years of relevant process/industrial engineering experience
• Professional-level Italian and English
• Strong PM and analytical problem-solving skills with engineering knowledge
• Willingness to travel internationally (20–30%)

Process Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Development of New Processes: As Process Engineer, you will participate in the qualification and validation for the processes and activities. You will develop new processes for innovative products, pushing the boundaries of technology and enhancing our product offerings.
• Preparation of Documentation: You will prepare comprehensive process documentation for technical proposals, ensuring clarity and precision in our project plans.
• Improvement and Development: You will improve and develop proprietary process technologies, continuously seeking ways to optimize and innovate.
• Writing Protocols and Reports: You will write protocols, test sheets, and qualification-validation reports, documenting every step of the process to maintain high standards.
• Performing Tests: You will perform and oversee qualification/validation tests, ensuring our processes meet rigorous quality criteria.
• Problem Solving: You will identify issues, provide solutions, and test corrections, maintaining smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
• Process Engineering Background: Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong mechanical or mechatronic engineering foundation.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in process engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related technical environment.
• Language Skills: Professional-level proficiency in Italian and English.
• Skills: Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities, along with knowledge of scientific and engineering principles.
• Travel Availability: Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%) to engage with customers and internal teams.
