Position: Pilot Units - Project Manager

The Pilot Units - Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the accomplishment of assigned projects, whether linked to a commercial opportunity or an internal initiative. The role involves realizing all requirements on schedule and within budget, as agreed with stakeholders, both internal and external. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Defining project resources, budget, risks, action plan, and KPIs required for project execution. Submitting these to the R&D Direction.
  2. Overseeing Pilot Unit engineering, procurement, and production to meet project constraints.
  3. Stimulating proactive behavior, focusing on targets and efficiency.
  4. Ensuring project implementation by applying project management methods and sound judgment to meet overall objectives.
  5. Supporting the Line Manager and Technical Team in coordinating relevant personnel, external workers, contractors, and vendors according to project needs.
  6. Analyzing time and cost variances, monitoring project progress, identifying issues, reviewing plans to mitigate risks, and implementing corrective actions. Preparing remedy actions and recovery plans when necessary.
  7. Keeping team and stakeholders informed and updated on project status. Managing communication and reporting related to project progress, goals, and milestones.
  8. Delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality constraints. Supporting change management initiatives.
Education and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager; experience in new products or R&D is a plus. Certification is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of project management techniques and methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (including Project), and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and confident, assertive, goal-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing kick-off/pre-inspection meetings, Factory/Site Acceptance Tests, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations.
