Overview

The Pilot Units - Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and ensuring the accomplishment of the assigned projects, whether linked to a commercial opportunity or to an internal push, delivering on schedule and on budget all the requirements agreed with stakeholders, internal and external.

Responsibilities

  • Define project resources, budget, risks, action plan and KPIs required for the project execution. Submit them to the R&D Direction.
  • Follow Pilot Unit engineering, procurement and production to match constraints.
  • Stimulate proactive behavior and focus on targets and efficiency.
  • Ensure project implementation, applying project management methods and sound judgment to accomplish overall objectives.
  • Support the Line Manager and Technical Team in coordinating relevant people as well as external workers, contractors and vendors, according to project requirements.
  • Ensure analyses of time, cost variances, monitor project progress. Identify issues/gaps, review plans to mitigate risks and implement approved corrective actions as necessary. Prepare remedy actions and recovery plans when necessary.
  • Keep team and stakeholders informed and updated on status. Manage communication and reporting related to project progresses, goals and milestones.
  • Deliver project on time, within budget and quality constraints. Support change management.

Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years as Project Manager, within new products / R&D is a plus. Related certification is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of project management techniques and methods
  • AutoCad
  • MS Office (Project included)
  • Outlook
  • Attitude to interpersonal relations is extremely relevant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate cross functional teams
  • Confident, assertive and goal oriented. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Attitude to schematize, systemic thought
  • Experience in managing kick-off / pre-inspection meetings, Factory/Site Acceptance Tests, commissioning and start-up activities
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations
