NTU International A/S seeks a Non-Key Expert – Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the AESPP Boost project. The role focuses on strengthening private sector participation, business development, innovation, and investment within African and European space ecosystems.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 8 years in private sector development, with 4 years in engaging companies, investors, or entrepreneurs—preferably in space or geospatial

Competenze

• Master's degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management, or related field; or four additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.

Mansioni

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development and/or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of professional experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs and/or investors, including market/value-chain analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialization and/or access to finance.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector and in Africa is highly relevant.

Non-Key Expert – Private Sector Engagement

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost.”

The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Non-Key Expert – Private Sector Engagement Expert to support activities aimed at strengthening private sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities within the African and European space ecosystems.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• University degree at Master’s level in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management, or a related field. In the absence of such degree, four additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be considered an asset.

Minimum General Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development and/or investment facilitation.

Minimum Specific Professional Experience

• At least 4 years of professional experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs and/or investors, including market/value-chain analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialization and/or access to finance.
