Overview

Private Markets Investor Relator role at Aegis FSI

Aegis FSI is a recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Finance, Banking and Insurance market. On behalf of a leading international Wealth Management company Aegis is looking for a :

Reporting to the Head of Private Markets Investor Relations, the candidate will be responsible for actively promoting and distributing Private Markets investment solutions to Italian HNW / UHNW clients of the bank. The role involves leveraging the company’s platform and working in close coordination with the Private Markets Investor Relations and Investment teams.

The scope of the role is expected to broaden over time, extending from private clients (B2C) to institutional and corporate clients as well.

Responsibilities

• Promote Private Markets solutions across internal stakeholders.
• Identify new prospects and strengthen existing client relationships to enhance Private Markets penetration within Italy’s AUM.
• Support local fundraising activities in compliance with internal procedures, in close coordination with the Asset Management solutions team.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives (presentations, materials) for Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors.
• Manage client servicing requests, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Provide operational and middle-office support to the Investor Relations team.
• Deliver after-sales service, accurate reporting, and periodic portfolio reviews.
• Conduct industry research and share relevant market insights with Relationship Managers and Advisors.
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings with head office.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Sales, with a focus on Alternatives, Private Equity, and / or roles in mutual fund investor relations or investment consulting; prior exposure to Private Markets is a strong advantage.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and hands-on, with a strong “can-do” attitude and a proven ability to excel in small teams.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with effective presentation capabilities.
• Solid understanding of controls, risk management, and banking regulations, with a strong commitment to compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
• Skilled in building and sustaining constructive, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in an additional foreign language is a strong plus.
