Job summary

ProductLife Group is seeking a Digital Life Science Principal Consultant to drive the digital transformation of pharmaceutical projects for local and international clients. You will oversee implementation of software solutions, guide project teams, and ensure successful delivery across Life Sciences domains.

This hybrid role is preferably located in northern or southern Italy, offering growth, ongoing training, and exposure to global life sciences initiatives through LifeBee.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading digital delivery of IT software in pharma.
• Knowledge of GMP and ISPE GAMP 5 is preferred.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and building teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for local and international pharma clients, defining, planning, and monitoring activities and resources.
• Oversee implementation and integration of market-leading software solutions for Life Sciences.

We are currently looking for a Digital Life Science Principal Consultant to be part of our vibrant and fast-growing Industrial Operations team (flexible loaction preferably north or south of Italy).

YOUR ROLE IN LIFEBEE

Within our Industrial Operations Business Line, reporting to the BL Manager, you will actively contribute to further developing and enhancing our business by driving and enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement through project and resource planning and coordination.

• You will lead projects for key local and international Clients in the Pharmaceutical industry by defining, planning, monitoring activities and resources, providing subject matter expertise as well as overseeing technical support when required
• You will oversee the implementation and integration of market-leading software solutions for Life Sciences
• You will provide guidance and mentorship to other team members encouraging their professional growth and development
• You will be at the frontline enhancing close collaboration with local and global software vendors
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the growth and further development of LifeBee business by getting involved in sales activities such as offer preparation and negotiation with clients in line with profitability goals.
• Lastly, you will also be involved in technical validation and review specification activities.

Profile And Skills

• Proven experience gained in similar roles at least 5-6’ experience
• STEM degree preferred (i.e., computer science, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics)
• Experience in leading the digital delivery of IT software solutions in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in one or more of the following domains: MES/EBR, Serialization and Track & Trace, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical manufacturing/operations (planning, production, MBR/EBR, quality review, warehouse management) and maintenance processes or part of them as well as industry regulations (GMP) and guidelines (ISPE GAMP 5)
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. SQL, Javascript, Python) and MS Office productivity and project planning tools
• Proven track record of acting as main point of contact and reference for both internal and external teams and stakeholders
• Experience in supporting junior team members and proven team building skills
• Project management skills
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.

• Knowledge of Industry (preferred in Life Science Market) digital solutions for:Automation and Integration Layer (e.g. Aveva PI, CanaryLabs, Aizon Unify/Predict, Zenon Copadata, Ignition and others)MES/EBR (e.g. Werum PAS‑X, Aizon Execute, Vimachem, Rockwell PharmSuite, Tulip, POMS and others)Maintenance (e.g. IBM Maximo, Infor Hexagon, SAP PM, Aptean and others)
