About the role: We are currently looking for a Pricing & Insight Strategist.
Business Priorities:
• Successfully achieve pricing EBITDA targets
• Monitor pricing performance in conjunction with Sales, Pricing, Finance, Procurement teams and recommend timely actions
• Build a consolidated view of company positioning
• Institutionalize new tools, processes and methodology
Professional Experience:
• Quantitative academic background (i.e., Economics, Engineering, STEM, …)
• Relevant experience as pricing specialist / business analyst / consultant
Skills & Capabilities
• Understanding of practices and principles of P&L profitability and B2B pricing strategies and techniques
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (e.g., Excel) and industry-standard BI tools
• Experience in analyzing large transactional data sets (different ERP systems) to identify pricing opportunities
• Strong business acumen, ability to connect quantitative output with qualitative commercial and financial understanding
• Attention to detail, independent working style and drive to highest quality output
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to effectively prioritize streams
• Profound ownership and accountability, self-starter, able to work through the organization to drive impact
• Strong communication and influencing skills and stakeholder management capabilities
Responsibilities
• Review and analyze pricing performances for each plant
• Develop data-driven pricing solutions, monitoring market/competitor trends and raw material price increase
• Foster common language / pricing methods within the Group
• Design and deploy pricing overview dashboards/ update processes
• Interact with Finance, Pricing, Sales and Procurement team to synthesize pricing updates
• Develop executive ready financial reporting and presentations
Location: Castelfidardo-Ancona (Italy) for 1-2 years;
opportunity to be relocated in San Diego (California, US)
