Job summary

TMC Italia | Technology and engineering services is strengthening its team with professionals in Validation and Application Engineering. You will work on driveline and e-Powertrain projects, validating and calibrating systems, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development cycle.

Your role involves testing on benches and vehicles, data interpretation, and developing control strategies while using MATLAB/Simulink and automotive diagnostics tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of driveline, powertrain or e-Powertrain systems.
• 1+ years in validation, testing and data analysis.
• Understanding of FMEA, DVP, reliability engineering and failure analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
• Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA or equivalents.
• Good command of English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Validation and testing of components, subsystems and complete systems on test benches and vehicles.
• Failure mode analysis and support in defining validation strategies.
• Processing and interpretation of test data to assess performance, reliability and robustness.
• Development and calibration of control strategies for powertrain and e-Powertrain applications.
• Use of simulation, diagnostic and automotive communication tools.
• Collaboration with design, software development and product integration teams.
